Building a network of shared value

When conventional networks of value sharing no longer work for the wider population, communities may come up with novel network designs for shared value.

What are some key problems that this process can solve?

By building a network of shared value, communities may better respond to crises that weaken communities’ quality of life or hinder access to services. This network might also simply make it easier to go about their main activities.

How does this process work?

Community agrees on a value unit that does not conventionally exist within the global financial system. This value unit helps community members exchange value, goods and services with each other.

What types of participation has this process offered communities?
