Model Card Authoring Toolkit
The Model Card Authoring Toolkit supports community members to understand machine learning models and deliberate the ones that best align with their collective values.
About the Tool
The Objective Revision Evaluation System, also abbreviated as ORES, is an internal system maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation. It is used within Wikipedia’s contributor circles to predict the quality of the written content. Specifically, ORES tries to estimate whether revisions of Wikipedia articles are malicious. For that, a quality threshold is set by the administrative team.
How the threshold is set affects the overall quality of the content and changes the community effort required to continue accepting revisions. As part of the research study, the community aims to introduce a machine learning-based predictive module to work alongside ORES, and this begs the community to discuss their goals for the introduction of this technical tool.
