Non-partisan Committee Selection

This process aims to solve the problems caused by groups that are partisan or prejudice towards a specific political ideology which can affect the outcomes of the actions that group is responsible for taking together such as gerrymandering and bias budgeting for localities, states or organizations.

There are many ways that non-partisan groups can be formed, but they seem to involve ensuring that there is a balance of representation from (ideally many) different political parties without any dominance towards any one party direction. This can also be achieved with help from a process of sortition, or random selection (sometimes from within an application pool) in order to ensure that the process itself is fair and people are not being chosen for any particular politically-motivated reasoning.
