Quadratic funding

Quadratic payments became a big topic in decentralized governance, leading to the forming of many quadratic examples, e.g. in voting in Colorado, or in a presidential hackathon in Taiwan. In summarized terms, quadratic payments denote a way to aggregate people’s preferences in certain monetary or political redistribution situations where no parties’ preference is over-privileged. As of 2022, the initiative has distributed more than $60,000,000 to over 3,000 open-source projects.
