Good Business Alliance helps the community formalize the support and keep track of the most recent needs in the community. The alliance is a hub for the resources (including financial, networking, marketing and professional development support) for businesses that align with the Ujima community values. At the same time, it functions as a database of businesses curated by the community that are certified to align with community values and ethical standards.

About the Tool

Good Business Alliance is a tool in use by the Boston Ujima Project which works for enhanced opportunities for Boston’s working-class community that identifies as people of colour. The alliance works as a directory for businesses supported by the project and the member businesses are eligible for various kinds of support, including growth investment, hiring, marketing and accounting.
